Sales Metrics

From Day 1 and ongoing, Focus takes responsibility for setting and driving the metrics (KPIs) for each role within your sales organization, including business development, sales, account management, marketing, and even customer service.

Designed by reverse-engineering from the sales forecast, sales metrics are the tangible milestones that measure each individual’s progress toward success. Sales managers will use the metrics on a month-to-month basis to coach sales reps and help them achieve their targets.

Some examples of sales metrics can include (but are not limited to):

  • Cold activities (e.g. number of first meetings, demos, presentations, etc.)
  • Warm/nurturing activities
  • Pipeline
  • New account development
  • New market development
